Banks close or reduce their working hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Also, the Easter holidays fall on Sunday banks are closed anyway.

Are Banks Open or Closed on Juneteenth?
President Joe Biden signed off on legislation making Juneteenth a federal holiday. The Juneteenth holiday is on June 19.
Since the Juneteenth holiday falls on Sunday, June 19, 2022, the holiday will be observed on Monday 20, 2022 by federal employees and most of the banks will not open that day. But, will open on Friday as usual. This also applies to The Federal Reserve’s financial services, they will open on Friday but will close on Monday which is due to the holiday.

You can still get some things done even if your bank is closed. You can still make use of the bank’s mobile app or use the online bank account.
These days, there are a lot of online-only banks that offer products and services, which makes it easy for you to carry out most of the banking activities online. These include making a deposit and transferring funds.
