To create a Calendar with Excel 2003, here are the steps you’ll use to create one without stress:

  • Start by creating a workbook
  • Scroll to the Tools menu, point to Macro and choose “Visual Basic Editor”.
  • On the “Insert” menu bar, choose “Module”
  • Paste the Visual Basic for Applications script from the “Sample Visual Basic procedure” section into the module sheet.
  • On the “File” menu, choose ‘Close and Return to Microsoft Excel’
  • Choose the “Sheet1” button
  • Scroll to the “Tools” menu and point to Macro and thereafter choose “Macros”
  • Thereafter, choose “CalendarMaker”, and choose “Run” in order to create the calendar.

How to Create a Calendar With Excel 2007 or Later Data

If you are using the Microsoft Excel 2007 or later version we are also giving you steps on how you can create and insert a calendar with excel.

  • Start by creating a workbook
  • On the “Developer” ribbon, choose “Visual Basic”.
  • On the “Insert menu”, choose “Module”
  • Then paste the ‘Visual Basic for Applications’ script from the ‘Sample Visual Basic procedure’ section into the module sheet.
  • On the File menu, choose ‘Close and Return to Microsoft Excel’
  • Choose the ‘Sheet1’ button
  • On the Developer ribbon, tap on Macros
  • Choose CalendarMaker, and select ‘Run’ to create the calendar.

If you want to convert your data and import it into Outlook, which will automatically format it into an easy-to-read calendar do the following:

  • Click open the file that contains your data in Microsoft Excel. You have to ensure that your file has a clear header row at the top of the spreadsheet. The header row houses the names of each field in your spreadsheet. Now you need these header fields in order to create a calendar with the accurate information.
  • Navigate to ‘File’ in the main menu of Excel and select ‘Save as’. You can choose a location on your computer where you want to save your exported file. Scroll to the ‘Format’ drop-down menu and choose ‘Comma Separated Values (.csv) Click on ‘OK’.
  • Tap open Outlook. Scroll to ‘File’ in the main menu and choose ‘Import and Export’.
  • In the ‘Import and Export Wizard’ pop-up window, scroll to the ‘Choose an action to perform’ section. Select ‘Import from another program or file’ and tap on ‘Next’.
  • Choose ‘Comma Separated Values (Windows) ‘ in the ‘Select File Type’ section and tap on the ‘Next’ tab.
  • Select ‘Calendar’ in the ‘Select destination folder’ section and tap on ‘Next’.
  • Tap on ‘Finish’ to complete the importing process.
